Introduction

Greetings! This is a blog for those students interested in the Scotland Study Abroad Program in May 2014 through the USG's European Council. This program is available to all USG students. This blog will serve as an introduction to the overall program. Over the next few months, I will post images, links, and other information about the courses. You can also join our Facebook page and our website (www.ecstudybroad.net) .

First, some basic information...

The program runs two-weeks (16-30 May 2015) in Scotland with an online component before and after we return. Students have the option of taking one to two college courses in history and art/architecture. There are two lower level courses and tow upper level courses. Students will stay in the heart of historic Edinburgh at the Smart City Hostel. The cost of the program is $2,995 (plus tuition), and includes round-trip airfare from Atlanta, GA to Edinburgh, Scotland, transportation from the airport to our lodgings, lodging in Edinburgh and an overnight on the return in Frankfurt, Germany, expenses for the required field trips, breakfasts everyday, and a health insurance policy providing coverage for emergency medical expenses.

There will also be free time built in for students to sight-see on their own. In past years, students have visited York, London, Ireland, and St. Andrews during their free time.
